Being productive not only help us professionally but also so that life beyond work have little more meaning. We all have only 24 hours a day. Not everyone can be like Nikhil Kamath CEO of Zerodha, Sunder Pichai or a sports personality that has been in the headlines recently, you guessed him right-Neeraj Chopra.

They have passion, hard work, dedication and most importantly they know the art of organising the day.

In our childhood, we all must have had made a timetable that 09–10, I’ll study and for 1 hour I’ll play and 1-hour sleep and so on. And proudly tape it on the cupboard. And let’s take a reverse gear and answer, for how many days it was successful. One, Two or three? To be honest, I couldn’t follow it for more than a day, many times I tend to divert from my path midday. Following a strict timetable is a utopia for some but we can always follow some tips that make us more productive. Here go the tips.

#Respect your Morning routine: have a glass of water, exercise, read the newspaper, make a checklist for the day, but most importantly do not check your mobile phones.

#Get Dressed: This wfh is kinda tough for some of us. For some our morning be like, “Oh! It’s time for a meeting, the kid is creating the fuss around, someone is at door again”.In all this chaos, we forget ourselves. Give yourself a bit of time, get dressed and get ready for the day. So repeat after me… No PJs after 9 am for optimal productivity!

#Have a clean workspace: Remove clutter, tidy up. No matter where you are, set up your workspace so it feels inviting.

#Keep doing body movements: Find creative ways to get those endorphins flowing. Go for a daily walk and get into nature.

#and most importantly, figure out the time of day for ‘YOU’. Also, always schedule your most important things first!

The simple task becomes difficult or at least they are done with a little more difficult when we are not organized. Therefore organise ourselves, live life with ease and work joyfully.
